Diddler On The Roof.

Have a look at this timeline if you need a quick refresher on the extent to which Michael Jackson has had an influence on popular culture. It's easily forgotten, but still astounding. I've been teetering back and forth as to whether or not the latest round of child abuse allegations have any merit. I'm sure we're all thinking to ourselves "If this many people have come forward over the years, there must be some truth to it, right?" It's a tough call. But I learned a few things last night while watching Hannity and Colmes that really got me swinging over to Mike's side a little bit. Perhaps I'll share...

No one who's ever accused Jackson of molestation has gone directly to the police, ever. They go to tabloids or right to Jackson himself. Ask yourself why. When the maid and bodyguard who've recently testified against Jackson were in his employ, they had media brokers on call at all times. That's someone you pay to sell your story to the highest bidding tabloid. That would make sense if you had said juicy story first, but these people got jobs at Neverland, hired the brokers and then sat around waiting to see/manufacture something scandalous to share with the world. You can't tell me that level of premeditation scores well on the credibility scale. And none of the kids have ever taken the stand - unless they're now in their early 20's and addicted to heroin. It's always the parents who do all the talking and then, of course, all the subsequent spending. Mike is a mark.

Michael Jackson is a strange man. In fact, he's a complete whackadoo. But I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for a while longer. Corey Feldman and MacCauley Culkin both refused to testify against him when asked by the current prosecution. As a founding member of both of their fanclubs (culkfeld.com), I have to stand behind their good judgement - like some sort of sad, 31-yr-old wannabee Goonie.

It's a tough call as to whether or not MJ is guilty of child diddling. He is of course guilty of being a freak, but the last time I checked that wasn't against the law (at lease not yet in the US...if only Bushy could get a third term I'm sure he'd rectify that little loophole). Anyway, I wanted to comment on Caulkin and Feldman not testifying. Let's face it, both these guys are barely making blips on the celebrity radar. The last thing both their "careers" need is to sit in front of a jury and recount how Michael feed them "Jesus juice" and convinced them that having a man in his thritys touch their winkies was okay. So if anything, I don't think they are protecting Jacko as much as they are protecting themselves.

Money motivates everything and that is certainly the case here. The accusations from the child and family accusing him right now came out after he asked them to leave Neverland, after they had been living there while MJ was providing and paying for his cancer care. Something the accuser is now in remision for. Furthermore, the mother of the child has also accused her ex-husband of the same sexual abuse to the child a few years back. The mother is a notable, money hungry, nut job herself. Get a job lady!

MJ grew up in a very different world and lifestyle than any of us will ever be able to understand. Could you afford a pet monkey at the age of 18? Imagine being 10 ( I am guesstimating at the ages here) and so famous that you can't take one step out your front door. I personally feel that, mentally, he is still a child and that is why he surrounds himself with kids. He wants that childhood he probably never had. Sadly, this makes him a very easy target. Perhaps, these parents who knowingly allowed their children to sleep in the same room and bed as MJ should be on trial for excepting money to do so? Or at he very least for exploiting their children.

And as for Culkin and Feldman. Culkin still has a pretty good film career. He has done some great Indy films (Party Monster, Saved). Agree that, shy of The Surreal Life, Feldman has nothing going for him. Both have rap sheets that I am sure neither want brought up. Culkin tried to divorce his parents and was arrested not to long ago for drug possesion and Feldman has a pretty hefty drug history and 'Bad Daddy' issues as well. Don't think they would be of any help to poor, whacky, moonwalking MJ's case.
'Who's bad?????'

Everyone keeps saying Wacko Jacko is a nutjob - Hello people. What was the first sign - I mean Thriller was a bit fucked - only a wack job would think of such a song and dance, and having a monkey named Bubbles is a good tell-tale sign that you got some problems. Don Ho wouldn't even name a monkey that. Monkeys need funny names like lil' Bastard, Shit Lips, Mongo, or Earl - face it they are like little retarded children with super human strength. If anything - there are 3 factors that should give away that Mikey is from outer space. First off he is a fucking Jehovah's Witness - everyone knows Jehovah's Witnesses are from the Nebula Omicron 5... Secondly - he is a fucking Jehovah's Witness... Third... he is a fucking Jehovah's Witness that accumalated more money for his family within his first 10 years on this earth than what most people spend in a lifetime.
Damn Jehovah's Witnesses

I too, am reserving my judgement on Mike, for a couple of reasons.
1. I'm not spending every day in court, so I don't have the real facts.
2. The media is blowing this whole thing WAY out of proportion

He is a freak... (i mean rare skin condition?!? COME ON!) And maybe he did miss out on his childhood... But then I think about what I might do if I felt I'd missed out on my childhood. I wouldn't hang around with 10 year boys. I'd invite my mates around (because we all have the mental age of 5 year old kids anyway), and run riot like kids would...

Yep, I'm 27 (nearly 28) going on 5 and 3 quarters...

Fuck Mike and His Childhood - boo hoo - asshole should watch City of God - that drops reality on you that a large percentage of this world lost out on their childhood - shit - didn't even have a childhood. That isn't what made him crazy - I am telling you - it is being a Jehovah's Witness... I have/had a step uncle that is a Jehovah - fricken looped man. When I was in High School Jehovah's would would always come to our door preaching Jehovah's word - I found it rather funny to open the door in my birthday suit and invite them in for a cup' a tea. Well my friends had a Jehovah's Neighborhood watch so we would call each other up when those friar tucks where on the block.
I had a buddy who would wear a black wrestling singlet and paint his Jimmy Nace like Puddy in the one Jersey Devil's Seinfield episode - he would run around the house yelling 'the devil's... the devil's'.

For sure the whole "missed childhood" and "Peter Pan" argument is complete BS. I don't care what happened to someone as a child especially if they are running around potentially ruining other children's lives – there is no justification for pedophilia. However, I am reserving judgment on Jako until all the "facts" are in. One other consideration: I wonder if MJ's trail will be influenced by the result of OJ's trail...meaning there might be some kind of retribution mind set that says, "We let the last one go, let’s hang this guy high!"
