Friday's Quizzlet: Right Back At Ya, Babe.

The place I get my Quizzlet questions from is on hiatus until the 17th, so I am without my usual fodder source on this fine Friday. So, what to do? How about I write a list of them, and you guys answer them for a change? Or completely ignore me - it's your perogative, Bobby.

1. Did Jack Nicholson ruined The Departed?

2. Are you capable of working full time from home, or would the distractions be too much?

3. Could you kill someone if the alternative was to have them kill you?

4. Do you attend your high school reunions?

5. Will National security suffer if the Democrats continue to take power?

Some of these are silly, and some of them are weighing heavily on my mind right now for whatever reason. If we get some good responses, I will post them next week on the main page of the site. If we don't, I'll continue to prattle away to myself like a crazy person who smells of pee.

1. Did Jack Nicholson ruined The Departed?

Didn't see it. Probably. He only ever really plays himself.

2. Are you capable of working full time from home, or would the distractions be too much?

No! I'd go crazy. I'm a social person. I need people to pester.

3. Could you kill someone if the alternative was to have them kill you?

Absolutely. Especially if, before threatening to kill me, they stole my seat on the subway or walked really slowly right in front of me.

4. Do you attend your high school reunions?

Yup. Why, I dunno.

5. Will National security suffer if the Democrats continue to take power?

Sigh. No. Obviously not. Of course, there is a grave danger that we might actually balance the budget again. Be afraid!

1.) I thought he was perfect in that role...admittedly, he was playing himself, but it was great casting all around in that flick.

2.) You know the answer to this: Yes. And Yes. Distractions can be an issue...but working in your pj's and being able to watch TiVo during your lunch break more than make up for the isolation.

3.) We're talking self-defense here, obviously...If so, the answer is yes.

4.) I attended both my 5 year and 10 year reunions. I shaved off 15 years of my life total, as a result.

5.) No. It can't be worse than it is right now...

1. No, that was Leo DiCaprio's job.

2. Too many distractions.

3. Kill them.

4. Nope.

5. I doubt it could get worse.

1) No- Jack did not ruin the movie the Departed.

2) I could never work from home, I wouldn't do any work- would watch tv, surf the internet, cook, anything but work.

3) I would kill them.

4) Yes, I enjoy seeing how awful everyone looks. Luckily, I am aging well so I go to show everyone.

5) Yes, everything is going to suffer now that the Democrats are in power- including National Security. Also- get ready for your taxes to go up!

1. No - He was awesome.

2. I have done it before successfully and think I could do it again.

3. Easily.

4. Yes, I enjoy them.

5. Very worried about this. People have short memories.

1. Nope. Then again, Jack didn't really bring much to the screen either. He was sort of a non-issue.

2. I currently work from home and I love it. I am SUPER productive and I love the illusion that I have *control* over my life. I probably end up working harder, but I am much happier.

3. I'd have to think that in a self-defense context, my limbic system would kick in and do whatever it took to preserve my life.

4. Nope. My first and only reunion so far was on a boat. Yuck. Last thing I wanted to do was not having an escape route if I needed one.

5. National Security is already suffering - the proverbial jugular has been slit. Hopefully the Dems can help stimy the massive hemorraging, but I am not very hopeful. It's a mess that goes beyond partisan politics at this point.

1. Did Jack Nicholson ruined The Departed?

Absolutely NOT. Always love watching Jack step into his lunatic character. His performance complemented well the other characters.

2. Are you capable of working full time from home, or would the distractions be too much?

Yes, providing I affix a giant chastity belt onto my TV and pc.

3. Could you kill someone if the alternative was to have them kill you?

I’d say YES. But that again, I never know how I will respond in actual circumstances.

4. Do you attend your high school reunions?

Would not miss it for the world. It’s better than watching a soap-operas.

5. Will National security suffer if the Democrats continue to take power?

I’m Canadian it doesn’t apply to me. Or does it?

1. Did Jack Nicholson ruined The Departed?

No way! I think he should get an Oscar for his performance. Just for the rat face he makes alone.

2. Are you capable of working full time from home, or would the distractions be too much?

Hell no. I have too much distraction here at work. Left to my own devices at home (tv, my bed, refrigerator, porn) I wouldn't get shit done.

3. Could you kill someone if the alternative was to have them kill you?

Yes, I think I could. Its either me or them, right?

4. Do you attend your high school reunions?

I've only had one so far and yes I did. It wasn't as bad as I had expected.

5. Will National security suffer if the Democrats continue to take power?

I think our National security suffers regardless.

1. Not at all. Nothing ruined that movie, it was perfect.

2. I have done so in the past and get a lot more done for some reason. I wish I could do it more often.

3. I probably physically wouldn't be able to unless the person was weaker than me and that is rare, BUT I would if I could.

4. I went to one, and LOVED it.

5. National Security does not exist regardless of who is in power.
