The New Orleans Police team took first place in this year's Swim for a Cure event. The Fema team were reported favorites for this year's event but failed to show-up.

Here's another: Short on resources after the hurricane, local New Orleans restaurants cut out the butcher and went straight to the deep fryer. The result? Lobster-style hamhocks.
