Monday's Quotelet: Puddy Tat On The Pitch

Sagging UK football ratings led to the addition of the puppy penalty, the gerbil goalposts and most recently the kitten corner kick.

Boss had pissed on Dave's stacks of Young Republican Magazine once too often.

Boss would never do that. He's a Republican himself. For example, he doesn't eat mice because it's instinctive for a cat to do so. He does it because they speak a different language and take all the jobs in my apartment.

Filming of Euro Disney’s latest screwball comedy, “Feline Football: Hairball in Midfield” ended tragically when Virgil the cat agreed to do all its own stunts.

That is pretty good Graeme... I thought I had you with Felix the Driving Cat this week but it is up to Dave.

The driving cat on SNL was named Toonces, as Janet already pointed out. Which unforunately is going to void your entry, Monster. It's just not fair to Toonces, otherwise, who is an unappreciated genius.

I am leaning toward Art this week, because his entry made me laugh out loud for a good 30 seconds, and he's never won before. We'll see if there's a late entry still to come...

Thanks for the praise, Monster. I'm in agreement with Pye though, Art's is the best thus far. Plus, Art should have won another time for his Green Day Quotelet. And thumbs up to Pye for finally, finally, making a self-effacing Republican comment.
